Daelyn Rice is broken beyond repair, and after a string of botched suicide attempts, she’s determined to get her death right. She starts visiting a website for “completers”— www.
While she’s on the site, Daelyn blogs about her life, uncovering a history of bullying that goes back to kindergarten. When she’s not on the Web, Daelyn’s at her private school, where she’s known as the freak who doesn’t talk.
Then, a boy named Santana begins to sit with her after school while she’s waiting to for her parents to pick her up. Even though she’s made it clear that she wants to be left alone, Santana won’t give up. And it’s too late for Daelyn to be letting people into her life…isn’t it?

My Review:

I picked this one up without reading any reviews, thinking it would be a light read. This was one book I couldn't put down. It was sad, scary and left me shaken. Daelyn is a young girl who has tried in the past to commit suicide, while she has failed her previous attempts; this time she finds herself on a website that is dedicated to assisting in suicides. The website let's the user choose their date of completion, and gives them a forum to purge or cleanse on. Daeyln's story starts at 23 days and counts down from there. We get her back story in postings on the forum, and meet Santana, the boy who lives next to her school. Santana makes an effort to talk to Daeyln, though she can't speak due to her most recent suicide attempt. Even though Daeyln doesn't want it to happen, she starts to like Santana.
The end was a bit abrupt for me, I really do need to know if she completed or went out with Santana for his birthday.
